The Seward girls basketball team isn't having any problem winning these days....the Lady Jays haven't lost a game in over three seasons, and they're not about ready to end the streak just yet.
Seward got a 50-38 win over Crete Friday night to increase their winning streak to 90 games, and to win the Central Conference Tournament.
Hannah Tvrdy led Seward with 19 points in the win. Kourtney Zadina tallied 15 points and Beth Bohuslavsky added 7.
Seward (15-0) and Gretna (17-0) are the only two teams left in Class B with a perfect record and the Lady Jays are hoping the success continues as they look for a fourth-straight state championship.
The Lady Jays begin a three-game stretch with Columbus Lakeview, Bishop Neumann and Fairbury, all from Class C-1 before closing the regular season out with games against York and Crete.
