It's the start of February which means the high school basketball regular season is coming to a close, and the York boys basketball team is quietly becoming one of the top teams in Class B.

York is 13-4 and fresh off of a championship in the Central Conference Tournament. The Dukes started the season 0-2, but have quickly turned into a team that's poised to make a run in the post season.

The last five games of the regular season have just two opponents with a winning record. York plays at Columbus Lakeview (13-5) on Saturday and then faces Beatrice (11-5) on February 15.
