Huskers hold off Wildcats, remain unbeaten

Tommy Armstrong Jr. threw for 246 yards and ran for a career-high 132 to lead No. 20 Nebraska to a 24 -13 win over Northwestern Saturday night in the Big Ten opener for both teams.


The No. 1 Nebraska volleyball team displayed its championship character by coming back from a 2-0 deficit to defeat No. 20 Michigan State, 3-2 (22-25, 23-25, 25-20, 25-14, 16-14) at Jenison Field House in front of 4,175 fans on Saturday night.
