Dailey Down To 4th On Depth Chart

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) -- Joe Dailey has fallen fast on Nebraska's quarterback depth chart.

Dailey goes into Saturday's spring game as the Cornhuskers' fourth-string quarterback.

Dailey was a team captain and the starter all of last season, and he entered spring practice three weeks ago number one on the depth chart.

Coaches say junior-college transfer Zac Taylor has been the best throughout the spring, and he will quarterback the number one offense on Saturday.

But Beau Davis and Joe Ganz also have impressed, and both have passed Dailey in the spring competition.

Nebraska coach Bill Callahan says the race will continue into the fall.
