Nebraska opens spring football practice on Wednesday with six returning starters on offense and six returning on defense.
The defense's entire front four is back. Larry Asante and cornerback Armando Murillo are the top players in the secondary.
Quarterback Joe Ganz returns after passing for most of his 1,400 yards in his three games after taking over for the injured Sam Keller. Nebraska also has the top returning rusher in the Big 12 in I-back Marlon Lucky.
Pelini said he's planning extremely physical practices, saying "We're not going to be out there playing tag."
