Running back Ahman Green has been released by the Houston Texans after finishing each of the last two seasons on injured reserve. The 31-year-old four-time Pro Bowler started the season opener but missed the next game with an injury and was replaced by rookie Steve Slaton who finished the season rushing for a franchise record 1,282 yards.
