Following a thrilling come-from-behind victory over a ranked Texas squad last weekend, the Nebraska Cornhuskers had a week to recover before returning to action on Saturday, Feb. 14, as they take on No. 17/19 Missouri in Columbia, Mo. The Huskers and Tigers will tip off at 12:47 p.m. in a game seen in select markets around the country on the Big 12 Network. Mitch Holtus will call the action with former college coach Rich Zvosec serving as color analyst.
All of Nebraska’s games can also be heard on the IMG Husker Sports Radio Network, consisting of 31 stations around the state and around the world for free on the Internet at Huskers.com, the official Web site of Nebraska Athletics. Veteran play-by-play man Kent Pavelka calls the action and former Husker Matt Davison adds color commentary.
Nebraska will be taking on its second straight ranked team after knocking off then-No. 16/17 Texas at home on Feb. 7 to snap a two-game home losing streak. The win was actually Nebraska’s third straight overall as the Huskers won consecutive road games over the previous week.
A third straight conference road win will be hard to come by as the Tigers are one of the hottest teams in the country. MU is 21-4 on the season and 8-2 in the league, sitting 2.5 games ahead of the fourth-place Huskers (15-7, 5-4) in the Big 12 standings.
