LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) -- Nebraska baseball coach Mike Anderson's expectations remain the same even though his team will have a revamped pitching rotation and is in need of developing depth throughout the lineup.

Anderson said today that the Huskers are gunning for a Big 12 title and College World Series berth. He says that's the best way his young players to approach the season.

He says it doesn't bother him if people outside the program doubt the Huskers' ability to play for a championship.

He says it's only right that the Huskers have the feeling of being an underdog because they're from a northern school.
