Huskers Set for Road Battle with Wildcats

Coming off a heart-wrenching, last-second loss on Tuesday, the Nebraska Cornhuskers will try to get one back in the win column as they head to Manhattan, Kan., to face Kansas State on Saturday, Feb. 28. The Huskers and Wildcats will tip off at 7:05 p.m. in a game seen in select markets around the country on the Big 12 Network (KLKN channel 8 in Lincoln; KXVO channel 11 in Omaha; and KIIT alternate channel 30 in North Platte) with Dave Armstrong and Jon Sundvold calling the action.

All of Nebraska’s games can also be heard on the IMG Husker Sports Radio Network, consisting of 31 stations around the state and on the Internet at Veteran play-by-play man Kent Pavelka calls the action and former Husker Matt Davison provides color commentary.

Nebraska takes aim at getting back to .500 in the league standings after letting a golden opportunity slip through its grasp Tuesday. The Huskers led by 18 points on two occasions in the second half but Texas A&M made more plays down the stretch, including a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to win the game. The A&M victory pulled the Aggies into a sixth-place tie in the standings with the Huskers.
