It may be a minor blow, but Major Culbert is no longer with the Nebraska football team.
The occasionally-used Husker has been dismissed from the program, according to a University of Nebraska spokesperson.
There were no details released about Culbert's dismissal. The senior-to-be struggled for playing time, despite trying his hand at three different positions that include defensive back, linebacker, and running back. He played in 29 games, and had 31 tackles total.
He scored once, which was a rushing touchdown in his collegiate debut.
Culbert is the fourth player to leave the team this off-season.
