Cody Neer went 3-for-4 with a career-high four RBIs, leading Nebraska to an 11-5 victory over Cal State Northridge in the opening game of Saturday’s doubleheader.
Neer provided the game’s biggest hit a three-run triple in the second inning, as the Huskers (8-3-1) jumped to an 8-0 lead after two innings.
Left-hander Jordan Roualdes (1-1) earned the victory, scattering six hits over six innings to earn his first victory. Matt Freeman went the final three frames for the save.
