University of Nebraska Head Coach Mike Anderson announced that Tuesday’s game against Northern Colorado will now start at 3:35 p.m. The start time was moved up from a 6:05 p.m. first pitch because of the forecast for cold temperatures Tuesday evening.

“In looking at the forecast tomorrow, our best opportunity is to get the game in the afternoon, but we also have to balance our players’ academic needs and class schedules,” Anderson said. “By moving the start time to 3:35 p.m., our players can have a full day of classes, and we should have warmer temperatures to get the game in.”

Season-ticket holders and fans who had purchased tickets to Tuesday’s game (Game 9 on season ticket strips) will now have the option to use those tickets on Tuesday or use them for General admission seating to any other regular-season game.
