Bo Pelini doesn't just expect his players to improve this year. He also expects himself to be more polished in his second year as Nebraska's head coach.
Pelini drew unwanted attention last season for sideline tirades against officials, assistant coaches and players.
Though he didn't mention those blowups specifically in his news conference today, he did say he hopes he has "grown up."
Pelini said he learned a lot his first year and, like anybody, he made mistakes along the way.
He says he has evaluated himself and hopes to become better.
Pelini acknowledged last November that he gets emotional and that he needs to watch his temper.
