Nearly 450 kids took to the field for a day of play with the Huskers Football team.
It was all a part of the Husker Youth Experience Saturday at the Hawks Championship Center.
Kids got to show off their skills, while the Huskers took them through training exercise and football fundamentals.
"The players really enjoy this and obviously the youth do too," Husker Head Coach Bo Pelini said. "It's been something that's been good for our program and good for our community."
After the drills, Pelini talked to the youth stressing the importance of taking care of school work before focusing on athletics.
The kids taking part ranged in age from eight years old to 8th grade.
