Strong north winds and frigid wind chill temperatures have forced the postponement of today's scheduled softball game between Nebraska and Oklahoma State. The two teams will now play a doubleheader on Sunday beginning at 1 p.m. at Bowlin Stadium.
Both coaches mutually agreed to the schedule change. Wind chills were forecasted to be in the low 30s on Saturday afternoon, while Sunday's forecast shows sunny skies, temperatures in the low 50s and a lesser wind out of the south.
Fans who had tickets for Sunday's original game can use their tickets for admission into both games of the doubleheader. Fans who had tickets for Saturday's game can use their ticket for general admission seating to any future Husker softball game this season, including Sunday's doubleheader with Oklahoma State. General admission seating does include one full section of plastic chairback seating.
