Nebraska offensive coordinator Shawn Watson says he's seeing good and bad things on both sides of the football during the team's spring practices.
Watson says the players are responding well during workouts, which are designed to get them on the field and show what they can do.
His comments came after Friday's 2 1/2-hour practice at the Hawks Championship Center, which was attended by almost 800 coaches attending the Spring Coaches Clinic.
The clinic includes appearances by Wisconsin athletic director and former Cornhusker Barry Alvarez and Colorado State coach Sonny Lubick. It continues Saturday.
Friday's practice was the sixth for the Huskers in preparation for the Red-White Game on April 18. Another practice is scheduled for Saturday.
