Brian Duensing gave up 4 runs in 2-and-two-thirds innings Tuesday night in Minnesota's 10-2 loss to the Yankees. Duensing, making his third Major League appearance, struggled with his control walking four batters.
The ex-Husker worked a perfect fifth inning, sitting the Yankees down in order. He was removed from the game in the sixth after loading the bases; two of the runners reached via walks.
Duensing was called up from Triple-A Rochester last Friday. Tuesday night was his second relief appearance since the promotion.
Duensing began the season on the Twins' opening day roster.
