Eighty-two years young - Dorothy Ekblad is defying her age. Ekblad is competing in seven different events at this year's Cornhusker State Games. The Lincoln native returns to her alma mater, Lincoln High, 64 years after graduating as one of the Links' most decorated athletes.

"I think a lot of times you can do more than you think you can, Ekblad said. "You just have to keep on trying and keep on working and keep on doing what you like to do."

Lincoln High will induct Ekblad into the school's athletic hall-of-fame this fall.
