East Advances

Lincoln East will have a chance to 3-peat at the state soccer tournament, and fittingly, it gets that shot by posting a 3-0 win in the semifinals. East netted 2 first half goals, and added another to finish off Millard South Tuesday at the Creighton Soccer Complex.

Jim Ebke scored the Spartans' first goal, which occurred last night. The game was suspended due to inclument weather moving through the Omaha area. Play resumed Tuesday at noon, which began with AJ Dingledine netting his 24th goal of the season.

Goalkeeper Anthony Reichwalt gets credit with the save.

Lincoln East will face undefeated Millard North for the Class A Championship Wednesday night. The title match is scheduled to start at 8:15pm.
