Nebraska cornerback Zack Bowman says he's 90 to 95 percent full speed, but he doesn't know if he'll be able to play in the season opener against Nevada.
Bowman missed the entire 2006 season after having surgery on his left knee, and then he ruptured the patellar tendon in his right knee in the spring.
Defensive backs coach Phil Elmasian says he doubts Bowman will be ready for next Saturday's opener. He doesn't rule out a return for the September 8th game at Wake Forest.
