Brandon Crick will share the course with Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, and the greatest golfers with the world on Thursday. Crick, who hails from McCook, Nebraska, is in the field for the 113th U.S. Open after qualifying for the prestigious tournament last week.
"It's just you vs. the course its not you vs. those guys, its just you against the course," Crick said. "At the end of the day, I still have to understand that there is a task at hand."
Crick, who golfed at Nebraska from 2008-2010, says he feels confident heading into the U.S. Open. He'll be the first Nebraska native to compete in a major championship since 2009.
Crick will be in the final group for the first round. He will tee off at 1:57 p.m.
