LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) -- Former Saint Louis women's head basketball
coach Shimmy Gray-Miller has been hired as an assistant at
Nebraska.
Nebraska coach Connie Yori announced Tuesday that Gray-Miller
would replace Kellie Lewis-Jay, who left to become head coach at
Florida Atlantic.
Gray-Miller was fired in March after the Billikins went 11-12.
They were 71-136 in Gray-Miller's seven years at the school.
Yori called Gray-Miller "a high-energy person with great
character."
Gray-Miller previously was an assistant at Arizona and
Washington. She played college basketball at Michigan.
