Former Tri-City Storm Player Daniil Zharkov Selected in NHL Draft

Former Tri-City Storm LW Daniil Zharkov was selected in the third round (91st overall) of the NHL Entry Draft by the Edmonton Oilers.

Zharkov played in the 2010-2011 season for the Storm before spending this past season in the Ontario Hockey League with the Belleville Bulls.

He scored eight goals and added three assists in his time with the Storm.

Zharkov is the 20th former Storm player to be drafted into the NHL.
