The Nebraska women's basketball team is one step closer to a Big Ten tournament title after a 76-61 win against Iowa Friday in the Big Ten Women's Tournament.
Jordan Hooper scored 24 points and grabbed seven rebounds as Nebraska downed Iowa 76-61 in the first game of the second day of the Big Ten Women’s basketball Tournament. Hooper was 3 of 7 from three-point range.
Lindsey Moore added 13 points in the win.
Theairra Taylor scored a team-high 22 points for Iowa in the loss. Melissa Dixon added 18, while Jaime Printy only scored 4 for the Hawkeyes.
Nebraska will play the winner of Purdue-Wisconsin at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
