Huskers Face Second Straight Unbeaten Florida School at USF

The Nebraska women's basketball team closes non-conference road action, when the Huskers travel to Tampa to take on unbeaten South Florida on Sunday afternoon.
Tip-off between the Huskers (7-3) and the Bulls (8-0) is set for 1 p.m. (central). USF will be the second straight unbeaten school on Nebraska's loaded 2012-13 non-conference schedule. The Huskers are coming off a thrilling 78-77 win over then-No. 24 Florida State at the Bob Devaney Sports Center last Saturday. The Seminoles came to Lincoln with a 7-0 mark.
Junior Jordan Hooper erupted for a career-high 36 points to go along with 12 rebounds in the win over FSU. The 6-2 forward from Alliance, Neb., hit 12-of-20 shots from the field, including 6-of-11 three-pointers, while notching her fourth double-double of the season. It was the 21st career double-double for the 2012 honorable-mention All-American and first-team All-Big Ten pick.
Senior Lindsey Moore added 14 points, five rebounds, eight assists, five steals and a block in a tremendous all-around effort. The 5-9 point guard from Covington, Wash., also hit the game-winning free throws with 22 seconds left.
Nebraska's All-America candidates Hooper and Moore both earned spots on the preseason lists for the Wade, Wooden and Naismith awards. Hooper leads the Huskers with 17.9 points and 8.6 rebounds per game, while Moore has added 15.1 points, 5.3 assists and 2.2 steals per contest.
