Kearney Wins Mike Peterson Legion Tournament

Ben Borer pitched 5 1/3 innings to help Kearney win the Mike Peterson Tournament Sunday at Sherman field, 2-1 over Papillion La-Vista South.
Zach Yocum earned the save. Kearney got on the board first in the bottom of the second when Caleb Lundgren singled home Grady Kowalski.
In the fourth, Drew Butler's single to left scored Keegan Fitzgerald to give Kearney a 2-0 lead.
In the seventh, PLVS had the tying run on third and the go-ahead run on 2nd, but Yocum got a fly out to center to end the game and give Kearney the title.
