The Nebraska baseball team's home opener is scheduled for Friday, though weather could push it back a day or two. Head coach Darin Erstad said on Thursday that he would continue to monitor the forecast, with temperatures expected in the 30s and a chance of flurries.
Erstad said an announcement for Friday's home opener would likely be made on Thursday. If any schedule changes are made, the game would likely be cancelled. Erstad does not see playing a doubleheader on Saturday or Sunday as an option.
