NU Soccer Looks to Even Big Ten Record on Road

The Nebraska soccer team (5-7-1, 2-3-0 Big Ten) is set to play its third straight road game on Friday night when the Huskers pay a visit to the McClimon Complex for a 7 p.m. game with the Wisconsin Badgers.

Nebraska enters the weekend tied with Minnesota for eighth in the Big Ten standing, while Wisconsin is in 10th place with a 1-3-1 record following losses to Michigan, Penn State and Minnesota, while tying Ohio State and posting a win over Michigan State.

After starting 2-1 in Big Ten play, the Huskers dropped a pair of games on the road at Michigan State and at Michigan last weekend to fall one-game below .500 during the conference season.

Nebraska holds a 2-1-1 advantage in the all-time series with Wisconsin. The Badgers picked up their first win in the series last year in Lincoln with a 2-0 shutout.

Friday’s game will be streamed live at (subscription needed) and live stats will also be available at the Badgers’ official website.

This week marks a rare one-game weekend for the Huskers, as they will return to Lincoln following their game with the Badgers. Nebraska will then turn its attention to the final five games of the regular season, including a pair of home games next weekend with Penn State and Ohio State.
