NWU Takes Winning Streak to Briar Cliff

Nebraska Wesleyan is riding a two-game winning streak to face a Briar Cliff squad that has just one win on the season. The Prairie Wolves defense has allowed just one touchdown in each of the last game and now ranks second in the NAIA in rushing defense.

Meanwhile, the NWU offense is getting on track under quarterback Tyler Francis who is 2-0 as a starter. Francis has completed 69% of his passes in his two starts, tying the school record with 28 completions last week.

Nebraska Wesleyan also features the GPAC defensive player of the week. Cody Eieler had 3 interceptions against Concordia and currently ranks among the NAIA leaders with 6 picks on the year.
