Nebraska Wesleyan's Cody Eiler is named the GPAC Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in a 16-6 win over Concordia on Saturday.

The O'Neill native blocked the PAT attempt after the only touchdown from Concordia. On Concordia's first possession of the second half, Eiler made the first of his three interceptions on the afternoon to lead the Prairie Wolves to a victory on homecoming at Abel Stadium.

This is the third straight week a Nebraska Wesleyan football player has earned the honors joining Brett Kaczor and Seth Wardyn.

Eiler and the Prairie Wolves go on the road this Saturday to face Briar Cliff in Sioux City. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
