Norris Runs Past Aurora, Into State Championship For First Time Since 1979

The Norris Titans may just have the right ingredients to bring home a Class B state championship as they ran past Aurora 52-13 on Friday night, securing a spot in the Class B title game for the first time since 1979.

Norris dominated the game from start to finish and a big reason why was senior running back James Kruger who finished with 230 rushing yards and four touchdowns. Kruger now has 2,085 rushing yards on the season.

Norris (10-2) meets Gretna for the Class B Championship Tuesday, November 20 at Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:15 p.m.

Oh yeah, and by the way, the last time the Titans were in the state championship back in 1979, they won it all, in a 20-19 win over Plattsmouth.

Aurora finishes the season with a 9-3 record.
