For more than half a century, Chuck Stevens has been behind the microphone calling everything from high school football games to state basketball tournaments and everything in between.

On Friday, Stevens will retire as the Sports Director at KFOR Radio.

Throughout his tenure, he's seen quite a lot of changes in the world of sports. During an interview on PrepZone Weekly Thursday night, Stevens mentioned he thought "speed" was a big thing that's changed.

Chuck's sports career began in the 1960's during his time at KOLN-TV in Lincoln. From 10/11, he moved on and eventually joined KFOR in 1982.
