One of the things fans were eager to see from Saturday's spring game was the play of quarterback Taylor Martinez.
Martinez found Tyler Legate for the first touchdown of the game, a six-yard pass giving the Red squad an early 7-0 lead.
Martinez then flashed some brillance midway through the second quarter as he found Brandon Kinnie for a 36-yard pass, resulting in the Red squad's second touchdown of the day.
Overall, Martinez was 5 of 9 with one interception passing for 79 yards and two touchdowns. He ran the ball nine times for 60 yards, averaging 6.7 yards per carry.
Martinez shined in his first appearance at Memorial Stadium, and he will no doubt shine in future appearances.
