The family of Ravens Punter Sam Koch is adding another chapter to his football scrapbook: a trip to Super Bowl XLVII.
"We always watch the Super Bowl and it's cool to say our brother is playing in it," says Sam's brother Chase.
"Just knowing that he's out there following his dream is big" says Sam's sister Lacey.
It's been a whirlwind week for the Koch family trying to arrange schedules and travel plans.
"Mardi Gras is going on so finding a place to stay is very hard," Sam's mom Cindy.
"It's kind of stressful but I think we have it all down now," says Lacey.
But the trip is all worth it, to watch a kid from small town Nebraska play on the biggest stage and realize a dream that developed in his backyard in Seward.
"He used to punt footballs. That's all he did. I showed him how to punt and he took off," Sam's dad Dave.
His football began at Seward High School. Even with his success, he'll always remember where he came from.
"He was such an outstanding young man. Everyone's just excited for him," says Sam's former high school coach Greg Welch.
Beaming with excitiment and pride the Koch's know their trip to Superbowl XLVII will be one they always remember.
