Jordan Hooper recorded her Big Ten-leading ninth double-double with 22 points and 15 rebounds, and 19th-ranked Nebraska held off Iowa's late comeback attempt for a 60-53 victory Thursday night.
Lindsey Moore added 15 points for the Cornhuskers (17-3, 6-2).
Jaime Printy had 17 points, Kamille Wahlin 11 and Samantha Logic 10 for the Hawkeyes (11-10, 3-5).
Nebraska led 30-17 at the half but went almost 11 minutes between field goals in the second half, allowing Iowa to storm back from a 13-point deficit with under 10 minutes to play.
Emily Cady scored after the Hawkeyes had pulled to 52-51 with
3:10 left, and Kaitlyn Burke made it 57-51 when she hit a 3-pointer
just before the shot clock expired.
Hooper came down with her career-high 15th rebound after Wahlin
missed a long shot, and Lindsey Moore hit a free throw to make it a
seven-point game with 30 seconds left.
