It took three overtimes, but the Nebraska women's basketball team downed Purdue 93-89 Thursday night on the road in West Lafayette, improving to 19-3 overall and 8-2 in the Big Ten.

Jordan Hooper led five Huskers in double figures with 27 points, Lindsey Moore scored 26, Kaitlyn Burke had 14, Emily Cady tallied 11 and Tear'a Laudermill added 10 points in the win.

Nebraska hit 13 three-pointers in the game. Lindsey Moore hit two clutch three-pointers in the third overtime to give the Huskers the lead. Moore had missed 26 of her last 29 three-point attempts before hitting the field goals.

The Huskers only shot 42 percent from the field, but out-rebounded Purdue 49-43. Former Lincoln Southeast standout KK Houser had 15 points for the Boilermakers in the loss.

Nebraska returns home next Thursday to face the Michigan Wolverines. Next week's game has a lot on the line - first place in the Big Ten Conference race as the regular season draws to a close.
