Lincoln - Inclement weather has forced the cancellation of Sunday's series finale between the Nebraska and Michigan State softball teams. The game will not be rescheduled.
The Huskers were hoping to move up the Big Ten Conference standings on Sunday. Nebraska entered Sunday in second place in the league standings with a 12-5 conference record, after sweeping yesterday's doubleheader from the Spartans. NU was just one-half game behind league-leading Michigan, which was scheduled to play a doubleheader with Illinois on Sunday.
Fans with tickets to Sunday's Husker game can use their ticket stub for general admission seating into any of Nebraska's two remaining home dates (May 11 and 12 vs. Wisconsin). General admission seating does include one section of chairback seating.
