The No. 4 Nebraska volleyball team returns home this weekend for match-ups with the No. 20 Ohio State Buckeyes and the No. 1 Penn State Nittany Lions. The Huskers will face the Buckeyes on Friday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m., while they will take on the Nittany Lions on Sunday, Oct. 28 at 2 p.m.
Nebraska leads the all-time series with Ohio State, 10-3. The Huskers beat the Buckeyes 3-1 in their first match-up of the season on Sept. 22.
The Huskers lead the all-time series with Penn State 12-8. The Nittany Lions handed NU it’s only conference loss of the season in a 3-1 decision in State College on Sept. 19.
Nebraska’s match with Ohio State will air live on NET in Nebraska and can also be seen on BTN.com with a subscription. The Huskers’ match with Penn State will air live on the Big Ten Network on Sunday. It is also available on BTN2Go.
Fans can also listen to all of the action with John Baylor and Diane Mendenhall on the 25-station Husker Sports Network, including B107.3 FM in Lincoln and The Wolf 93.3 FM in Omaha. Fans outside the state will also be able to catch the live audio feed for free on Huskers.com.
Friday’s match will serve as a special alumni match for Nebraska as nearly 70 former Huskers will be in attendance as well as Coach Terry Pettit. They will all be honored with a special ceremony following NU’s match with the Buckeyes.
