Nebraska volleyball fans will be able to purchase single-match tickets for the Husker’s 2012 home slate on Wednesday, Aug. 1 at 8 a.m. Prices are set at $17 (reserved), $11 (general admission) and $9 (youth/senior general admission), with a limit of five games and four tickets per game per household.
Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets online at Huskers.com, but can also purchase over the phone at 1-800-8BIGRED and in person at the Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office (located directly west of Memorial Stadium) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Students who are looking to purchase tickets to be part of “The Block”, will need to wait until the day of the match they wish to attend. All student tickets will be $6 and will be available for purchase beginning at 8 a.m. on Huskers.com, over the phone at 1-800-8BIGRED and in person at the Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office. For weekend matches, tickets will go on sale on Friday.
Tickets are also still available for the Huskers’ annual Red/White Scrimmage, slated for Saturday, Aug. 18 at the NU Coliseum. Scheduled to start at 7 p.m., tickets are priced at $10 (reserved) and $8 (general admission).
The Huskers open the 2012 season with St. Louis on Friday, Aug. 24 at 7 p.m. at the NU Coliseum. Nebraska will then take on reigning NCAA Champion UCLA on Saturday, Aug. 25 at 6 p.m. Fans will also have the opportunity to see the Huskers compete in Omaha during the opening weekend of action as Nebraska will face Notre Dame on Sunday, Aug. 26 at the CenturyLink Center at 1:30 p.m. Tickets for the Huskers’ match against the Fighting Irish are available on ticketmaster.com.
