Nebraska volleyball senior setter Lauren Cook is the Co-Player and Setter of the Week announced Monday by the Big Ten Conference.
Cook guided the Huskers to wins this past weekend over Saint Louis, #1 UCLA and Notre Dame. She tallied double-doubles in all three matches including 56 assists and 22 digs against the Bruins.
Over the weekend Cook averaged 10.7 assists, 4.4 digs and 0.4 blocks per set. She earns her first Big Ten weekly award.
The last Nebraska volleyball player of the week to grab the honors was Hannah Werth back in November of 2011.
Cook and the Huskers are back in action this Saturday against Colgate and UC-Irvine in Irvine, California.
