Huskers outlast Minnesota in battle of top-three teams

The Nebraska volleyball team proved worthy of its No. 1 ranking on Sunday, using a complete team effort to take down No. 3 Minnesota, 3-1, in front of 8,363 fans at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.

Nebraska moved up one spot in the Associated Press Top 25 college football poll, following the team's win 27-14 win over Purdue.

Tommy Armstrong Jr. accounted for 303 yards of total offense and two touchdowns and No. 8 Nebraska came back from a four-point halftime deficit to defeat Purdue 27-14 Saturday at Memorial Stadium.

The pairings are out for the NSAA 2016 Football Playoffs.
