The Nebraska Brass announces its 25th anniversary concert season, with performances in 17 Nebraska communities.
This season offers a varied repertoire for Nebraska's music lovers, from Baroque and Classical to 20th Century, jazz and popular music, plus a new composition for brass quintet by Connecticut composer Gwyneth Walker. Other season highlights include "A Nebraska Brass Christmas" and "Nebraska Brass and Friends," featuring percussionist Chris Varga and guitarist Peter Bouffard. In celebration of its 25th anniversary, the 2012-2013 season will include a special concert entitled "Brasstastic!" featuring works for large brass ensemble.
The Nebraska Brass offers a Season Brass Pass which entitles the subscriber to a total of five (5) admissions, which may be used to attend any concert in any city. Bring four friends with you to one concert, or use your five admissions to attend any combination of performances. The cost is $67.50 for adults and $54 for senior citizens (65+). Season Brass Passes are offered to new subscribers at 50% off the regular price. Purchase of a Season Brass Pass entitles the subscriber to free admission to our bonus concert, "Brasstastic!"
Single admission tickets may be purchased in advance by contacting the Nebraska Brass business office at (402) 477-7899. Tickets are also available for purchase at the door before each concert. Single ticket prices for Lincoln and Omaha are $15 for adults and $12 for senior citizens (65+). Single admission tickets in other communities are $12 for adults and $10 for senior citizens. Students are admitted free at all locations except Minden. All tickets to "A Nebraska Brass Christmas" at the Minden Opera House are $15 and are only available by contacting the Minden Opera House at (308) 832-0588.
