On this week’s episode of Star City Buzz , our cameras get an inside look at the UNL Dairy Store. The Dairy Store makes its own cheese and ice cream right on UNL’s East Campus. You can try their delicious cheeses and ice cream flavors Monday through Friday from 8AM to 10PM, Saturday from 11AM to 10PM and Sunday from 11AM to 8PM. Watch the video to see the big tanks and negative degree blaster freezer. In the end, the ice cream and cheese is pure goodness!
It's a dance camp with the stars but it’s for the kids who have a twinkle in their eye and fancy two-step in how they groove. The Lincoln Midwest Ballet Dance Camp will be held at UNL's Howell Theatre from July 30-Aug. 4. Watch the video to see what special guests will make an appearance at the camp. Because we know you like to bite the tips and smack your lips - July is Lip Smackin' BBQ month. Our first stop lands us in the pit of Phat Jack's BBQ located at 2441 North 11 Street. The Kansas City Style BBQ restaurant is run by the pros with a Lincoln flair. Matthew and Jackie Burt began competing in KC and brought their talents down to Nebraska. Check 'em out and see why they really call it Phat Jack's! Phat Jack’s is open Monday through Saturday from 11AM to 7PM.
It's super-hero Summer, apparently. With "The Avengers" smashing box-office records and "The Dark Knight Rises" expected to do the same, others wonder if "The Amazing Spider-Man" will have its fair share of success. Schmoes Know tells us if "The Amazing Spider-Man" will explode just like the 4th of July fireworks shows.
Star City Buzz sits down with another star, David Hasselhoff. The Hoff brings his awesomeness to a Lean Pockets campaign. His alter ego, Mr. Lean is a metrosexual German guy who tells it like it is when it comes to healthy eating.
