This February, the Haymarket Theatre proudly presents a new vision of the classic Shakespeare tragedy, Hamlet.
The classic Elizabethan tale of murder, revenge, and betrayal set in a dystopian world where even the highest in the land are now living amongst the rubble of their ruined world. The story revolves around the Prince of Denmark lamenting the marriage of his mother, the Queen, to his uncle. When supernatural events begin to occur on the grounds of Elsinore, Hamlet investigates and discovers that something is indeed rotten in the state of Denmark.
Directed by Jordan Deffenbaugh.
