The University Program Council (UPC) presents David Garibaldi’s Rhythm & Hue, to be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 7:30pm in the Nebraska Union Centennial Room.
David Garibaldi is a world-renowned performance painter who creates images through body movement and brushes while music is played as an added dimension. Garibaldi has performed for Fortune 500 companies, charity events, and celebrity events. Hundreds of thousands have witnessed him turn a blank canvas into a pop art icon.
As a young artist, Garibaldi listened to hip-hop icons Run DMC and Snoop Dogg while painting graffiti with his middle school friends. Over the years, Garibaldi has been able live a life “with passion and purpose.” At 29 years old, he has raised over $1,000,000 for non-profits and charities across the country. Today, the audience will watch as Garibaldi moves around to music mixed by his exclusive DJ, Joseph One. With musical inspirations varying from U2 to the Glitch Mob, the audience is given a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
