University Program Council Presents Fashion's Night Out

Fashion’s Night Out, locally presented by the University Program Council (UPC), will take place on Thursday, September 6, 2012 in the Nebraska Union Centennial Room.
The event will run from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and admission is FREE for all UNL students, faculty, staff and the Lincoln community.
The event will feature runway shows live-streamed from New York Fashion Week, as well as local boutiques exhibiting their collections and offering fashion tips and advice to attendees.
Local retailers participating include: Duo Shoes, The Black Market, Blu Velvet, Embellish, Penny Lane Trading Company, Sassafrass, Sunny's Boutique and Tsuru.
Fashion’s Night Out is an unprecedented global initiative created in 2009 to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, boost the industry’s economy during the recession, and put the fun back in shopping! In the United States, the program is a collaboration between American Vogue, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, NYC & Company, and the City of New York.
