David Jespersen leads 10/11's Special In-Depth Reporting Team. Prior to that, David co-anchored KOLN-KGIN-TV's Weekday Morning Show.

David joined KOLN/KGIN-TV in June of 2006 as weekend anchor/reporter after two years as the Grand Island Bureau Chief. Before coming to 10/11, David worked for two years as a photographer/reporter for NTV in both Grand Island and Kearney.

David was born in Omaha, and attended Roncalli High School. He continued his education at Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, where he majored in Journalism with an emphasis in Broadcasting.

He lives in Lincoln with his two sons Aidan, born in December of 2006 and Samuel, born in July of 2008. He enjoys playing golf and tennis. He loves the excitement of reporting, and the fact that it never gets dull because every day is a different story and there is always something new to learn.
