Nate joined the news team in March of 2012 as our Chief Photojournalist. Nate came to us from Sunny Las Vegas, NV where he worked for Las Vegas's #1 news station, KLAS. Nate brings with him all the fast paced excitement and fun that Las Vegas has to offer, as well as plenty of time covering the crime and corruption that is standard in a larger city where the slot machines outnumber the people 2 to 1 (2.5 million locals to be exact).

Of Nate's six years covering news and entertainment in Las Vegas, nearly 5 were spend at the afore mentioned CBS affiliate, and 1 year was spent at the FOX affiliate where they were geared more towards the entertainment side of things. Pamela Anderson, Carrot Top, and Jenna Jameson were some of his more memorable celebrity interviews although when reached for comment none of them remembered him. The entertainment beat in Vegas runs the gambit and when you add in some red carpets, sprinkle in some behind the scenes at some of Vegas's biggest shows like Le Reve, Jersey Boy's, and Lion King, then you have a recipe for fun in the sun of America's favorite desert (not that there is a lot of competition in the desert popularity voting. Sorry Mojave).

Nate brings over 38 years of experience to our staff, 12 of which were actually in the news field. Before Vegas he spent his first 6 years in his home town of Rochester, NY. Rochester is known for it's flowers in the spring, foliage in the fall, winters that make you wish you could grow your own fur coat, and summers that are eerily similar to spring. It also boasts high school sports up the wazoo. When not covering every sport high schools are known to play, Rochester also hosts the Buffalo Bills training camp, the Buffalo Sabers minor league team, The Rochester Amerks, and the Minnesota Twins minor league team, The Rochester Red Wings. In addition Nate covered Rochester's 2 professional Lacrosse teams, minor league soccer team, and the PBL team Rochester Razorsharks.

Life outside of news (yes there is one, it's called fantasy football) Nate spends with his wife Briana, his dog Wallie, and Ginger his cat. Nate also enjoys horse shoe pitching (preferably without the horse still attached), reading, volleyball, did I mention fantasy football, and an occasional match of 9-ball. Very close to his family, Nate is the oldest of three boys...I mean men, boasting parents who have been married over 40 years (to each other), and grandparents' married over 70 years. He also loves the outdoors (although it's a purely plutonic relationship), the whole season of fall, and all the fresh baguettes he can get his hands on. When not checking the latest fantasy football news and updates... oh wait that never happens, never mind.
