I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in May with a double-major in Broadcasting and Journalism. My interest in television news began with my grandfather—an immigrant from Italy who always stressed the importance of staying informed on local and national news.
In college, I interned in both radio and newspaper, but I wasn’t certain of my career path until I experienced the challenge, excitement and thrill of television news.
I am originally from Merna—a small town in Central Nebraska. I moved to Lincoln in August 2008, and fell in love with the city. After graduation, I lived in Columbus, Nebraska, while I worked at the Fremont Tribune. Although I enjoyed my time there, I am extremely excited to be back in Lincoln! While I’m here, I plan to visit Memorial Stadium as often as I can to cheer on my favorite football team. I’m also looking forward to exploring the city and meeting more people.
My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family—and my dog Bella. While I’m not focusing on work, you may see me out at the movies or grabbing coffee at one of the local shops. Also, I love to cook and bake so feel free to send recipes my way! I love the outdoors, but I also enjoy staying in and watching my favorite shows.
