Adam Uhernik anchors 10/11 Central Nebraska News at 5:30 & 9pm and is the Assistant News Director. With more than seven years of television experience, Adam uses his knowledge to help bring the very best newscast and stories to viewers every day.
Born and raised in Southern Colorado’s medium size city of Pueblo Adam has always loved being a journalist. Adam graduated from CSU-Pueblo in 2005 and then headed out to Northwest Iowa where he received his start in the TV broadcasting industry. While in Iowa Adam reported on the 2008 Iowa Caucuses interviewing presidential candidates.
Adam is a huge believer in education, which is why he went back to school in 2006 to pursue a Master’s Degree from the University of South Dakota. He graduated with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.
Most recently, Adam came from Rapid City, SD where he achieved much success as the Main Anchor for NewsCenter1, reporting on a variety of stories.
In his spare time he loves to hang out with his girlfriend Natasha at the park or take in a movie. They also love to play with their German Shepherd named Baillie.
